Shinola Leather Goods Warranty
Shinola’s handbags and small leather goods are covered from the date of purchase by a one year limited warranty (proof of purchase required).
This warranty covers defects in material or workmanship, under normal use anytime within the first year.
Under this warranty if any of our leather products are defective in the material or workmanship, under normal use anytime within the first year, we will repair or replace the item with same or comparable product free of charge. If a replacement is issued, the defective items will not be returned to customer.
The warranty does not cover damages arising from accidents or misuse, or from any alteration, service or repair performed by any other party other than Shinola.
Repair is always our preferred course of action. However, if after evaluating your item it is deemed not repairable, we may need to replace it. If a replacement is not available, a store credit in the form of a Shinola gift card will be issued for the original amount paid (proof of purchase required). If your damaged product requires replacement, please be advised we cannot also return your original product to you.
Based on the amount of labor involved, some repairs may incur a charge. You will be notified if this is the case prior to any work being done on your item.
Please let us know if your product has sentimental value and you do not want the item replaced. We will honor your wishes and repair it to the best of our ability, if a repair is possible.
We try to repair any item before we replace it. While we cannot absolutely preserve the original look and feel of the item, our team completes a repair to best maintain the integrity of the item.
