Keeping eyewear clean will help it to look great and provide the best visibility by decreasing eye strain caused by dirty lenses. When cleaning, be sure to follow the directions below as improper care may damage lenses and create scratches or haziness.
Care
- Avoid wearing your eyewear on your head as this may stretch the frames
- Always use two hands to remove your eyewear to prevent stretch
- When cleaning or handling your eyewear, hold by the bridge rather than the temples (arms) to prevent bending
- The best place to store your eyewear is in the case in a dry and room temperature environment
Cleaning
To clean the lenses:
- Always use a microfiber cloth to clean your lenses
- The use of any other materials, such as paper towel, tissue or clothing, may cause scratches
- We do not recommend using any solvent or chemicals to clean your lenses
To clean the frames:
- Warm soapy water may be used. Avoid soaps that contain dyes or scents
- After cleansing, dry your eyewear completely
- Avoid prolonged time soaking in water as this may damage the hinges
- Avoid all contact of chemical cleaners to the frames
